The Tanzania KSP research team headed by Dr. Il-dong Koh (Project Director of 2016/17 Tanzania KSP) visited Dodoma, the new capital of Tanzania, and conducted the Final Reporting Workshop and Senior Policy Dialogue on 19th to 23rd April, 2017. The Korean delegation successfully held the Final Reporting Workshop, which was welcomed by Prof. Simon Msanjila, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, with the topics of 1) Economic Growth and Macroeconomic Policies Review, 2) Policy Suggestions to Secure Tanzania Government Revenue, 3) Strengthening Industrial Research for Sustainable Industrialization. It served as a venue to disseminate the final research findings and policy recommendations as well as policy implications. Around 30 participants from the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, the Ministry of Finance and Planning, and other relevant institutions such as TIRDO and CAMARTEC shared key implications and had rigorous discussion on the topics. During the Senior Dialogue, the Korean researchers summarized their research results to the high-level officials from both ministries and emphasized the importance of continued cooperation to further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries.
